Most rental companies in Dubai, as in the rest of the world, insist on a credit card in the main driver's name and block a security deposit on it. For a supercar, that hold can run into thousands, may take weeks to be released and eats into your card limit for the whole trip. Debit cards are often refused altogether. If you do not have a credit card, or simply do not want to tie it up, this is a real problem.
The alternative: crypto
With FiloBlade you can rent a car in Dubai without a credit card. You pay the booking deposit (30 % of the total, minimum €200) and the balance in cryptocurrency — USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum or one of 20+ coins — and the refundable security deposit can also be left in crypto on delivery. No card hold, no bank calling about an unusual transaction, no foreign transaction fees.
The security deposit is still required: it covers Salik tolls, traffic fines, fuel and extra kilometres, and is refunded 14–21 days after the rental once everything has been checked. Our security deposit guide explains how it works in detail.
What you still need
A passport, a valid driving licence (or an international permit if your licence requires it — see our licence guide) and a minimum age of 21, or 25 for supercars. That is all. Choose any car in the fleet, from the Cadillac Escalade to the Lamborghini Huracán, and we deliver it free to your hotel or the airport.
