Al Maktoum International, also known as Dubai World Central (DWC), lies in the south of the emirate near Jebel Ali and Expo City. It is used by a number of low-cost and charter airlines, as well as private jets, and it is the closer airport if you are staying in Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah or heading towards Abu Dhabi.
With FiloBlade, delivery and pick-up at DWC are free, just like at DXB. Share your flight details when you book and we will arrange the handover at arrivals. Public transport options from DWC are more limited than at DXB, which makes having your own car waiting for you particularly convenient. From there, the main highways — Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, with Sheikh Zayed Road towards the coast — take you north into the city or south-west towards Abu Dhabi.
Which car for a DWC arrival?
If you are flying in privately for a short stay, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Ferrari SF90 sets the tone. Families should consider the Cadillac Escalade with seven seats and a huge boot. Whatever you choose, insurance and 250 km per day are included, and you pay 30 % in crypto to book with the balance due on delivery.
